Black In Astro Travel Grant Program

The Black In Astro Travel Grant program helps BIA members in the space sciences attend the conferences, workshops, and summer and winter schools that shape a scientific career. These are the places where students present their research, meet collaborators and mentors, and become part of the wider astronomy community. Since 2023, Black In Astro have provided 35 grants for early-career researchers to attend space-related conferences around the world.
