Building Coalitions for Radical Change

In academic spaces that offer little to no support from people in power, it can feel like resisting oppressive systems is not an option. In this workshop, participants will learn how to overcome individualistic values and engage in collective practices. They will identify their needs, practice community care, and brainstorm solutions within their communities. They will also learn a framework for organizing within, without, and against academic systems to meet community needs and enact change.
